Stadia is a streaming platform for games, powered by Google's cloud infrastructure. It was unveiled at a keynote during GDC 2019. It allows users to play games via a video feed fed to devices like a Chromecast Ultra or Android phone, as well as Chrome web browsers.
The Stadia service offers a paid "Pro" tier and, in 2020, will also allow a lower-end free tier. Games are for sale on the service, and the service launched with 22 games.
Stadia can be played with a variety of gamepads on a computer, on a TV with a Chromecast Ultra, and on the following mobile devices:
