In a recent tweet, the official Rainbow Six Siege account shared new footage from an upcoming skin, which shows Maverick wearing an outfit based on the Nier Replicant, officially confirming the previously rumored crossover between Rainbow Six and Nier.
At the end of the trailer, Ubisoft teases that it is not the end of this partnership, showing a character wearing black boots, which could probably hint at the already leaked outfit for Iana based on the 2B character from Nier Automata. The current Maverick Replicant bundle is based on the protagonist of Nier Replicant. The Operator will also carry the protagonist's well-known companion Grimoire Weiss probably as a charm in Rainbow Six Siege.
Ubisoft will officially reveal the next final season of Rainbow Six Siege for Year 7 on November 21, the same day that Six Major Jönköping kicks off in Sweden. That being said, a large portion of the announcements for the next season has already been leaked online, including the operator and her abilities. It's worth noting that the Maverick Replicant bundle will be launched on November 21, which means it will still be available during Y7S3. However, the YoRHa soldier teased in the trailer will arrive after next season's launch.
Year 7 Season 4 will be called Operation Solar Raid, delivering a brand-new map to the game, which is Nighthaven lab. Moreover, Ubisoft will introduce Ranked 2.0 with the new season, which according to leaks will bring a new rank called Emerald, placing it between the Platinum and Diamond ranks. Also, it seems like the Ranked mode will now reward players with Alpha Packs, card backgrounds, and charms whenever a player reaches a new rank.
The release date of Year 7 Season 4 is yet to be revealed, but it is expected that the new content goes live on Test Servers a day after the official announcement. It usually takes the developer a few weeks to bring the content from Test Servers to Live Servers based on the feedback provided by players.
Last but not least, the new season of Rainbow Six Siege will eventually activate cross-progression between platforms, allowing you to move your progression, including clearance level, operators, and in-game items to any other platform where you own the game.
