Pokemon Scarlet & Violet: All Violet Exclusive Pokemon

Nov 23, 2022 · 31

Pokemon Violet is one of two versions of the new 9th Generation Pokemon game for the Nintendo Switch -- Pokemon Scarlet is the other. Just as in previous Pokemon games, some Pokemon can't be found and caught in the wild in both games. If you're looking to completely fill out your Pokedex, you're going to have to trade with other players in order to obtain the Pokemon in this list.

There's one Pokemon specifically, Charcadet, that can be obtained in both versions, but the evolution is specific to each version. Armarouge and Ceruledge are special in that they are evolutions and you can learn about how to get them here.

It should also be noted that, in the future, players can transfer some Pokemon that are able to be kept in Pokemon Home into your version of Scarlet or Violet.
