With the addition of cats and dogs for your Sims to love, The Sims 3 finally catches up to the state of the original game in 2002, when the The Sims: Unleashed expansion pack was released.

Overview
In this expansion pack, players of The Sims 3 are given another expansion to their game in which you can create your own; Dog, Cat or a new-comer, known as a Horse*! Unlike The Sims Unleashed or The Sims 2 Pets, The Sims 3 Pets gives players a lot more customization choices to create their desired pet. To suit the expansion, the game comes with a new town called Appaloosa Plains, a town featuring lots suited best for animals.
*Horses are only available on the PC/MAC version of the Expansion Pack.
